Upon its link release in 1955, the 'Ladymatic' had the link smallest automatic chronometer certified movement in the world. This was unusual given the fact that women's watches during that period were rarely created for mechanical virtue, as emphasis was placed on aesthetics. The Queen was spotted wearing the art link deco-style Ladymatic on several occasions.
